(White County, Georgia, b. 1916, d. 1999) runny olive green glassy alkaline glaze. applied facial features including rounded horns, pointed ears, elongated pointy nose, white clay inset eyes with cobalt painted pupils, large lips with inset teeth, straight spout, applied strap handle, incised lines at shoulder, "JOHN MEADERS CLEVELAND GA., MLM #4 DEVIL JUG" inscribed on base, another inscribed design on base, 9-1/4 in.
