(Penland, North Carolina, Contemporary), inlaid mahogany desk and printer stand, signed and dated 2011, figured mahogany with light wood, desk fitted with two drawers, 30 x 84 x 41 in.; matching printer stand with single drawer and shelf, 36 x 49 x 23 in., excellent condition, very light surface wear and scratches. Provenance: Private Collection, Greenville, South Carolina; A note from the maker: "The primary wood in the desk is Brazilian Satinwood and the accent species are Bloodwood (from Africa) and Swiss Pearwood while some of the internal structural panels are Maple. The accompanying printer cabinet is primarily made of Mahogany. The structural components are Brazilian Satinwood and the top surfaces are Bloodwood."
