Notes: Phytanthoza iconographia was one of the earliest examples of color printing. It included the work of some of the most important botanical artists of the 18th century. This group includes plates 115, 241, 242, 278, 387, 508, 557, 723, 780, 867, 934, 1002, 1016.

one examined out of frame, N. 867, binding edge present, pencil inscription in margin, small brown stain at edge, hinged in, good fresh colors, light toning, 'Pomegranate' with more extensive foxing; modern frames with abrasions
