Notes: J. Jonathon Joseph, designer, author and former owner of the painting, was co-curator for Jane Peterson: An Impression, Hickory Museum Art, North Carolina, 1987. The lot is accompanied by copies of the original receipt from Pierce Galleries and the R.H. Love conservation receipt.
Condition
lined with clear lining, restretched with tension bar stretcher, minimal retouch, primarily at scattered points on boats in foreground, conservation label for Barry R. Bauman, director and conservator, The Chicago Conservation Center, dated August 1993 with a receipt from R.H. Love Galleries for restoration of the same date; frame with abrasions

Sales Tax: If you live in North Carolina and/or pick up from the auction house, and do not have a valid resale tax number on file with us, you MUST pay North Carolina state sales tax. The NC Sales Tax will not apply to any items being shipped out of state (unless the client resides in North Carolina) or to those clients with a resale tax number.
