London, 1684, bulbous form with engraved bird and foliate decoration, reeded collar and scroll handle, marks possibly for Alexander Roode, .925 fine, 4.22 oz. T., 3-3/8 in.
Note: While receipts were not retained, this lot and the other early silver in the sale was purchased by the Barrows almost exclusively though S. J. Shrubsole in New York.

Purchased items will be available for pick up or shipping from our Asheville, North Carolina auction facility within ten business days of the auction will be assessed a storage fee of $5.00 per day, per item. Purchaser agrees that packing and shipping is done at the purchaser's risk and that the purchaser will pay in advance all packing expenses, materials, carrier fees and insurance charges.
