(19th/20th century) Narcissus, after the antique, foundry stamped "Chiurazzi Naples", patinated bronze, 24-1/4 in. abrasions with losses to patination. Notes: Excavated in Pompeii in 1862, Narcissus is regarded as the last of the great sculptures of antiquity to be discovered.
