Continental, early 19th century, carved and molded cornice above a gouache inset panel depicting Classical ruins above a distressed two part mirror plate, over second gouache on paper scene depicting ruins, 60-1/4 x 26-1/2 in.

typical gilding wear with some chipping at edges, distressed mirror plates probably original (not removed for exam), gouache panels with extensive foxing, stains, and some wrinkling, some edge chips evident (not removed for exam)
