British, probably late 19th century, figured bookmatched banded top opening to a checkerboard and backgammon playing surface with recessed chip cups, well carved cabriole legs with shell and eagle's head knees, ball and claw feet, 28-3/4 x 36 x 18 in.

warping and finish losses to top, playing surface with finish stains and water damage with some associated losses to inlay, one arm for concertina support currently detached, other surface distress and scattered veneer flaws
