British, circa 1750, with deeply shaped seat over fine lion mask carved front leg set on paw foot, rear legs with pad feet set with turned stretchers, fluted column arm supports, 33-1/4 in.
cracks and repairs to arm rests and splats, some patches and repairs to back at connection to splats, possibly period slip seat (not fully examined), feet in good condition
