American, early 20th century, Ira Hudson (1873-1949) Bluebill carved wood decoy, c. 1920s, Chincoteague, 13 in., tack eyes rusted out, minor loss to top of head at nail, lacking most original paint, some touchup to white at a later date, bill repainted, split to head, chip loss to tail; finely carved Redhead decoy, R. D. Wilson, Mineola, Texas, two-piece body, branded "SGH" for collector Sommers F. Headley, old original paint, the base with lead weight and original leather strap and hook, some surface losses, 13-1/4 in. Wilson was featured in "Southern Living" magazine, November 2005 .
