probably New York, late 18th century, of impressive scale, each with engraved brass urn finial over a tapered column and square plinths, set on spur arched legs with ball and claw feet, matching log stops, 30-1/2 x 13 x 24-1/2 in.
Provenance: each marked with early accession number HH.46.34.15condition generally good, polish wear and residue with some color variation and surface distress, some spots of verdigris, wear, and abrasions to feet, restoration to back end of one billet bar, color variation and distress to planished iron rods (do not appear to have been reposted, but see detailed photos), scattered minor casting flaws
