(Tea Bowl) Japanese, hand-formed [Mishima] style, slip-inlaid tea bowl with seal for [Eiraku] with cloth bag and [tomobako], including inscriptions for “tea bowl” and “Eiraku-made” on box lid top and bottom, 3 x 4-3/4 in.,. Condition: tea bowl good condition, cloth bag partial disintegration, [tomobako] good condition with age staining. Notes: Possibly by [Eiraku X] who excelled at making [Mishima]-style tea bowls in the Korean manner. Prof. Bennett referred to this bowl as his “Korean bowl”.
