Table American, dated 1854, in mixed woods (poplar, pine and maple?), old dry original painted surface, top with exuberant red and yellow turkey with comb and striped neck, turkey standing on tree and dated "1854", painted skirt and legs with vibrant waves of yellow ocher and deep brown, 28-3/4 x 31-1/2 x 26-1/2 in.. Condition: excellent original condition with old dry paint surface, minor abrasions and wear, some small dents in top, other shrinkage separations and minor flaws consistent with age and use.
