Note: I. I. Behr was an active gunsmith from 1690 to 1740 in Liege, Maastricht, and Wurzburg. This particular gun passed through several collectors hands over the years but was originally found in an 18th century house in Carlisle PA., down the street from 18th century gunmaker Thomas Butler's gun shop. It is believed that this gun may be an American stocked musket with European parts, it is unknown whether Butler had anything to do with this particular musket.
