Le Combat, 16-1/4 x 21-1/4 in. (plate) all edition 25/60, signed lower right "Holley Chirot" and "Marcel Chirnoaga" with one inscribed "For Bob Haskell avec simpathie", drypoint etchings on paper; matching gilt silver frames, toning, not removed from frames; frames with abrasions. Notes: In 1970 Holley Chirot left with her husband to go to Bucharest. Among the lasting friendships she made in Romania, was with the artist Marcel Chirnoaga, who became her mentor..
