(Belmont, Ohio, 1924 - 2000) circa 1990's, painted "Chew Mail Pouch Tobacco" barn form birdhouse, nicely painted advertisement in six colors at both ends of barn, six nest holes, signed "H. Warrick", 12 x 12 x 13 in.Harley Warrick was the most prolific Mail Pouch Tobacco Advertising barn painters. He painted on over 20,000 barns in 13 states.  When he retired after 55 years he was the last Mail Pouch painter in the America.  Some of his work has been exhibited by the Smithsonian

Condition

paint loss with mildew on roof, surface abrasions and wear consistent with age and use, overall good condition
