Shade American, circa 1910, acid-etched shade reverse-painted with chestnut pattern with textured exterior, signed "Handel 785", copper mounting ring with stamped signature "Handel Lamps", copper pedestal base also with Handel signature, probably original sockets and pulls, 23-1/2 in. good condition overall, copper cap lightly polished (probably original), brass finial possibly replaced, shade with some distress and wear to exterior (possible sickness in glass?), base with minor surface dirt and areas of [verdigris]. Provenance: Antique Lamplight Gallery, Versailles, Kentucky, 1995 (accompanied by original receipt); Private Collection, Asheville, North Carolina

Condition

good condition overall, copper cap lightly polished (probably original), brass finial possibly replaced, shade with some distress and wear to exterior (possible sickness in glass?), base with minor surface dirt and areas of [verdigris]
