American, early 20th century, shade of domed form, white banding featuring floral decoration over textured black ground, signed "Handel. 6596" to interior rim, lamp with reeded column and foliate base, molded "5294 Handel", later wiring for electricity, 15 in. diameter; overall height 23 in.
