Glass Shade
(Connecticut, 1885-1941), adjustable desk or piano lamp with 8 in. wide cylindrical shade in chipped ice glass painted with pine forest on a lake at sunset, bronze base signed "HANDEL" underneath, shade is signed inside "HANDEL", numbered "6235" with artist's initial "A",12-1/2 in.. Condition: small chips around holes where shade attaches to bracket, base has lost patination, some assembly may be needed to put lamp in full working order.
