probably German or French, 19th century, floral-decorated cover with lemon finial and brown rim band, dish with conforming decoration and circular foot, crossed-sword mark in underglaze blue written over with a "W" in black paint, 4-3/4 x 7-3/4 in., cover with 1/2 in. rim crack, minor enamel losses, body with discoloration under border rim, black-painted mark on cover possibly added at a later date, scratches inside foot rim, firing anomalies.
