probably German, 19th century, hinged cover with lovers in a landscape and pineapple finial, signed "E Perdcher", base with gilt metal band, interior with finely hand-painted floral interior, flanked by two handled and gilt supports, scrolling gilt metal base with inset porcelain saucer of conforming design, unmarked, possibly Meissen, 14-1/4 x 9 in. at handles, minor surface wear to gilt decoration, back feet with modern pads.
