19th century, muzzle-loading rifle with octagonal barrel and double-set triggers, lock marked "H E LEMAN/LANCASTER PA", bore approximately .50 caliber, no visible rifling, maple stock, brass trigger guard and butt plate, 54 in. overall length
lock holds on full cock, no half cock, stock appears refinished with some small cracks, missing pieces and repairs, maker's name on barrel illegible, barrel under rib is loose ahead of forearm, age patina to steel parts
