Note: Haku Maki was a Japanese artist associated with the sosaku-hanga movement of the 20th century. He studied briefly under the printmaker Onchi Koshiro following the end of WWII, and throughout his artistic career became known for his use of texture and for his striking compositions and arrangements of kanji.
