C. Claiborne, signed by Mississippi Territory Governor David Homes; February 1815 letter, mentions military points Mobile and Pensacola, congratulates Claiborne on "triumph over John Bull [England] at [New] Orleans", largest 13-1/2 x 15-1/2 in.ÿ - Provenance: Private Collection, Kingsport, Tennessee - Note: Many of the handwritten letters in this archive relate to the Green family of Falmouth, Virginia, as well as the Rhea and Claiborne families of Eastern Tennessee.ÿ
