Related Ephemera Brandy Station, Virginia, located in Culpeper County, was the site of the 1863 Battle of Brandy Station, including two partially-printed documents, Requisition for Forage for Private Horses in the service of Captain R. A. Stanton, dated 29th of February, 1864 and 31st of January, 1864, 10 x 8 in., very good with a bit of foxing on each one; three Alexander Gardner (1821- 1882), albumen prints from Gardner's Incidents of War with the text for each photograph: Plate 51, The Shebang; Plate 58, Pontoon Boat; Plate 57, Camp Architecture, 10-1/4 x 12-1/4 in., all very good with some darkening in areas .
