American, 1909, oval with tapering sides to pedestal base, morning glory decoration, marks for Gorham Martel‚, .9584, "T/AJ", 30.61 oz. T. excluding brass frog, 6-1/2 x 10 x 8 in.; with openwork gilt brass frog - Note: Listed in Pristo, L. J. Martele?: 950-1000 fine Gorham's Nouveau Art Silver, pg. 430. Listed with no marker's name on card, took 40 hours to make, completed August 18, 1909, chaser was Harry Heath who worked for 73 hours, net price $144.00. Note shows it has gilding.
