Italian, late 19th century, in the form of a phoenix holding a garland of flowers in its beak with well articulated wings, carved back and upholstered cushion, 29-1/2 x 27 x 17 in.
good condition overall with some scattered cracks, separations and surface wear, wing at front with glue repair at one lamination, scattered minor chips to carving and some losses to gilding
