early 19th century, andirons with turned finials on faceted plinths and spurred legs, 25 in.; together with six pieces of fireplace equipment comprising a spark screen with brass handles, 33 x 44 in.; two pierced iron and brass trivets with wooden handles, 12 in.; a heavy pair of cast iron fire dogs and a pierced brass fire fender. Condition: all generally good condition with surface wear, distress and polish residue consistent with age and use, one trivet with repair to brass top. Provenance: Estate of Charles G.
