Iron Cross China 20th century, 21 articles including 11 cups, eight saucers and two vases by KPM, Rosenthal, Meissen and other makers, cups and vases prominently feature the German Iron Cross with crown in the top leg, "W" in center and "1914" at bottom, surrounded by gold frame or wreath, dark blue ground; Meissen example blue on white with scalloped rims on cup and saucer, one cup and saucer made to commemorate March 31, 1814 displays Iron Cross with "FW III" at top and "1813" at bottom, black spread eagle above, some pieces with an oak or laurel wreath, marks include red KPM with orb and blue scepter and black Iron Cross on many pieces, blue crossed swords on the Meissen cup and saucer, cups 1-5/8 in. to 5 in., saucers 4-1/4 in. to 6-1/4 in., vases 3-5/8 in. and 4-1/4 in. repaired chip on foot of one saucer, others items in good condition with slight wear to gilding.
