Two Wittelsbach Bavarian Portraits: Ferdinand (1550-1608), inscribed ["Ferdinandus D.C. Comes Et Bavarlae Dv"], likely after the engraving in reverse by Crispijn van de Passe (1574-1637); and his brother, Ernst, Archbishop of Cologne (1554–1612), inscribed ["Emestus DG Episcopus Leodiensis"], likely after the engraving in reverse by Dominicus Custos (c. 1550-1612), both oil on panel, 14-3/4 x 10-5/8 in.; matching Alpine lacquered and gilt wood ripple-molding frames, 20 x 16-1/8 in.

various periods of retouch, some smalls checks, surface dirt, crackle; frames with chiseled rabbets, losses, some pest damage, labels verso for restorer in Vienna "Herm. Ritschl"
