British, 19th century, hinged dome top lid opening to divided interior, line and conch shell inlay, applied brass feet, 9 x 10-1/2 x 7 in.

feet probably later, break and loss of one rear foot, other feet slightly loose, scattered scratches and bumps, shrinkage cracks and separations, some veneer losses, large crack and separation at bottom panel
