Writing-Arm Rocking Chair
New Hope, Pennsylvania, signed "George Nakashima 1960" on underside of seat with client's name, figured walnut writing arm with free edge and knot hole, shaped seat, hickory spindles, 35 x 32 x 19 in., with original invoice from Nakashima dated 1961, and copy of photo of Bette Krieger with the artist and the chair in 1974, good condition, minor surface wear and scratches, some slight fading to arm and seat.
