English, 19th century: lap desk with inset brass armorial and campaign style hardware at corners, hinged tops over leather top writing surfaces and multiple compartments below, ebonized interior, fitted wells for ink and sand, 5-3/4 x 13-7/8 x 9 in., [minor scratches and old cracks;] rectangular tea caddy, brass inset handle, hinged top over two compartments and center well, diamond-shaped bone-inlaid escutcheon, 6-1/8 x 12 x 6 in., [lacking glass mixing bowl, top sprung with minor cracks and separations at back of lid] .
