British, late 18th/early 19th century, collector's cabinet or miniature chest, mahogany with seven graduated dovetailed drawers with mahogany and pine linings, set on bracket feet, 19-1/2 x 16 x 13-3/4 in. - Provenance: Private Virginia Collection
some cracks and stains to top, veneer losses to banding at front, brass pulls replaced (escutcheons likely original), possible restorations to feet (later color to the underside), possibly reconfigured (once fitted with doors?)
