British, 18th century, fold-over top opening to a leather-lined playing surface, single drawer with oak lining, molded square legs, rich dark patinated surface, 28-1/4 x 33-1/2 x 15 in., opens to 30 in. excellent condition overall, repairs to hinge on gate leg, later drawer supports, possibly original drawer pull (not removed), some possible added color, abrasions and surface wear especially to top, leather playing surface replaced, other typical surface wear and abrasions
