British, 19th century, figured top with light wood banding, two dovetailed drawers, probably with original pulls, ivory escutcheons, one with fittings for writing implements, inlaid drawer facings flanked by burr elm patera on tapered legs with brass casters, 28-1/2 x 18-1/4 x 36-1/4 in.
very good condition overall, typical checking to figured mahogany, very minor sun fading to top, other scattered minor surface flaws
