British, 18th century, dial signed "Joseph Wood" and "Scarborough", arched and painted brass and silvered dial, seconds sweep, moon phase, and date aperture, brass movement, set in fine figured mahogany waisted case with arched door flanked by carved cluster columns in the Gothic taste, pendulum, winder, and two weights, 89-1/2 x 21 x 10-1/2 in.

dial with tarnish, minor losses to blacking, moon phase with paint losses and retouch, saddle board replaced, scattered typical minor shrinkage cracks, checking to figured veneers, feet appear to be period with scattered repairs
