British, circa 1740, central painted scene of house above the initials "SM", flanked by floral bouquets in vases and elaborate floral vine flourishes, paper label verso inscribed "Sara/McAllister", scrolled paper, some with gilt edges on silk taffeta ground, 10 x 11-3/4 in. Condition

fading, toning and shattering to silk ground, tulip flower missing off right flourish, left floral bouquet appears to be missing some flowers, center painting is very faded, label verso worn and faded, abrasions to frame with minor losses to corners (not examined out of frame)
