British, mid 18th century, double chair back settee with six legs and upholstered slip seat, pierced slat backs, serpentine arms terminating in carved birds heads, ending on carved cabriole legs, oak secondary, 36 x 58 x 24 in.

formerly fitted with casters, some restorations to knee returns, some breaks and cracks at conjunction of crest rails, some cracks and minor repairs to arms and arm supports, minor pest damage, slipseat replaced and with later supports, other cracks and flaws; arms possibly associated

Sales Tax: If you live in North Carolina and/or pick up from the auction house, and do not have a valid resale tax number on file with us, you MUST pay North Carolina state sales tax. The NC Sales Tax will not apply to any items being shipped out of state (unless the client resides in North Carolina) or to those clients with a resale tax number.
