By William Jourdain English, 18th century, name plate engraved "William Jourdain London", engraved steel dial with Roman counters and arabic minutes, time and strike works, brass surround, stepped cornice with hinged S-loop handle, glass front and sides, straight bracket feet flanking shaped apron, works finely engraved with figural design, original key and pendulum, 14 in., drying cracks to veneer on top cornice and at sides of casement, escutcheon loose.
