(Biloxi, Mississippi, circa 1898-1910) earthenware low vase form, runny yellowish brown glaze, green and rutile glaze highlights at shoulder, raised edges of body, and neck, black glaze around footed base and neck base, eight large impressions around body, concave shoulder, flared rim, inscribed "G.E. OHR" on base, 5 in. by 5-1/2 in. - Provenance: From The Collection Of The Late Dr. and Mrs. Edward L. McConnell, Atlanta, Georgia
glaze voids and anomalies as made, some glaze crackle and bubbles to areas of black glaze, chips to glaze on base and base edge as made, minor scratches to glaze, very good condition overall
