late 18th/early 19th century, possibly North Carolina, flintlock smooth-bore rifle, approximately .50 caliber, figured maple stock, brass trigger guard, ramrod thimbles, patchbox and butt plate, lock indistinctly marked "J. T……/Warr…..", 56-1/2 in. overall length, attached tag "Unsigned believed to have originated in Rowan Co., NC."
