Mr. and Mrs. Gebauer, He, standing in a landscape and holding a pair of scissor glasses, [binocles-ciseaux], signed lower right "Groger Pinx 1812" (?); and She, seated in a landscape and holding a hat filled with flowers, signed lower left "Groger Pinx 1811", both oil on canvas, 40-1/2 x 35 in.; His frame possibly original, both gilt wood and composition frames, both lined, crackle, and scattered retouch primarliy in backgrounds affecting less than 7% of surface; frames resurfaced.
