19th century, hinged lid with central panel in relief depicting city scene, surrounded by enamel scrollwork and mother of pearl inlay, underside stamped "France/Ovington/New York/Chicago", opening to embroidered fabric lined interior, foliate and scroll decorated bronze exterior, 2-5/8 x 7-1/8 x 6-1/8 in.
