, Provenance: Private Collection, Charleston, South Carolina  paper is stretcher backed, four approx. 1-1/2  in tears to paper, one at top two corners and bottom two corners, two small areas of missing pigment/surface abrasions at ship's mast background left, various areas of retouch, some apparently in the negative and some in the print; frame with wear
