Schoonover / '24 " and stamped verso on stretcher with artist's stamp, oil on canvas, 32 x 34 in.; original carved and gilt wood Arts and Crafts frame signed "Yates" (sometimes associated with Philip N. Yates or Cullen Yates), original stretcher and tacking edge, fairly recent cleaning and varnishing, good condition with only slight stretcher marks; frame with abrasions. Provenance: Sold to Harry Morrow Pierce, Hilltop Farm, in New Castle, Delaware, December 21, 1926; by descent in family
