(47-1/2 x 54-1/2 in. with frame as indicated on receipt); original carved and gilt wood frame, lined and restretched on original stretcher, overall light retouch possibly in two periods with evidence of some repairs, very fine limited craquelure, some possible overcleaning lower left; frame possibly stripped of gilt surface.
