Paris, late 19th century, bronze molding at top right of cylinder with signature "F. Linke" (1855-1946), finely inlaid case with exotic veneers and ormolu mounts and plaques with a pierced gallery over a musical trophy inlaid cylinder, which opens to a fitted interior with sliding writing surface, over three dovetailed drawers set with putto figural ormolu plaques at each side, fully finished at back, 43 x 44 x 25-3/4 in.
