Confederate States of America fork, knife, and spoon, no visible markings, framed under glass, brass plaque reading "SAYLER'S CREEK-APPOMATTOX", overall 11 X 9 in. 

Provenance: Private Collection, Winston-Salem, North Carolina

Note: A hand written label on the verso reads "These three (knife, fork, & spoon) were dug together at a site used by Confederate Gen. Ewell's troops near the Saylor's [sic] Creek (Va.) battlefield. Undoubtedly all belonged to the same Confed'te soldier."
