Edgefield District, South Carolina, circa late 1800's, Miles Mill attributed stoneware jug, dark brown speckled alkaline glaze, applied looping strap handle, angled shoulder, straight neck, wide flat rim, 11-1/2 in.; two storage vessels, one with mottled tan glaze, 7-1/2 in., one with olive green alkaline glaze, 10 in.; fluid jug, mottled light olive and black alkaline glaze, strap handle from shoulder to neck, collared rim, 9 in., storage jars possibly attributed to Bodie or Hahn, jug possibly attributed to Landrum - Provenance: Collection of Dr. Joseph T. and Gaile E. Condition

glaze voids and anomalies as made, Miles Mill jug with abrasions and frits to glaze at body and one on rim, tape residue to exterior, other jug with illumination under black light to top of rim and handle near neck, 1 in. and 1/2 in. rim chips, other minor rim chip, possible hole plug to side of jug, base edge wear, small jar under fired to one side, residue to exterior, clay body anomalies, large jar with 1/2 in. glaze chip to rim, remnants of red paint to interior rim, residue and abrasions to glaze
